Job Description**


The AP Intern is an entry level accounting internship reporting directly to Accounts Payable Supervisor. The position is responsible for the processing of daily internal and external invoices and payment obligations

Core Responsibilities:

o Sorting and preparation of incoming invoices

o Invoice archiving via scanning

o Invoice verification processing

o Invoice workflow processing

o Vendor Correspondence

Additional Responsibilities:

o Adherence to AP policies and procedures

o Effective Communication (both verbal and written) with Internal and External Customers

o Ability to work individually and within a team environment

o Respectful and professional behavior in handling AP related affairs

**Job Requirements**

Required Qualifications:

o Working towards BS in Business Administration

o Minimum of a 2.8 GPA

o Proficient in MS Word and Excel

o Ability to work approximately 30 hours a week and full time during summer highly desired
